Rosatom CEO sees no worries for foreign orders implementation
SOSNOVY BOR, Leningrad Region, Jul 25 (PRIME) -- The current geopolitical situation did not affect the implementation of foreign contracts by Russian nuclear power corporation Rosatom, and there are no reason for worries, CEO Sergei Kiriyenko told reporters on Friday.
“As of today, none of our foreign partners have discarded their signed obligations. I do not see any reasons for worry so far,” Kiriyenko said. “If someone hesitates under political pressure, we will find other partners.”
Kiriyenko also said that Rosatom planned to sign new international contracts in the second half of 2014.
He said the company’s foreign order portfolio could amount to U.S. $100 billion by the end of 2014.
